Kurinji Publications is proud to present author Nanjil Nadan’s short stories translated into English. These stories are from the author’s anthology of stories titled Soodiya Poo Soodarka that won the Sahitya Akademi Award in 2010.
Nanjil Nadan (b.1947) is an eminent Tamil writer whose literary output till date includes six novels, 15 anthologies of short stories and essays. His style is characterized by the distinct argot of his home state Kanyakumari in South and his novels and short stories have been translated into English, Hindi and Malayalam; some have been made into movies.
