Maharishi
Maharishi (pen name of Mr. T.K. Balasubramaniam) is a Tamil writer of more than 90 novels, 20 short novels, numerous short stories, and essays on literary, political, and social, topics. He has also appeared on the All India Radio and TV. Six of his novels have been adapted as movies.
His works have appeared in popular Tamil weeklies and monthlies, and no less than ten scholars have devoted their doctoral programs to research the major themes of his writings. He has been hailed as the ‘Salem’s Best’, and cited in the Asian Americans-Who is Who.
